16th May..my mommy's birthday :) yehhhhh... We didnt have much time to plan so we did a little something that would put a smile on our sunshine maa. Herez how it went.. It starts off with the notes at the shoe rack..says " happy b day maa! Hope we have many beautiful shoe shopping days"..The second note " Just like we share our shoes we will always share our love and feelings with each other" Then she was welcomed by more notes on the main door.. With a cup of 'chai' and this note at the coffee table in the hall At the Kitchen door At the exhaust above the stove More notes on the walls In the passageway to the rooms Yess.. I even put them up on the paintings..she must have been secretly annoyed by all the post it's all over the place :P ZOOM IN! A Little note on Dadi's DOOR Then towards my room .. she was having fun reading the notes :) I just need an excuse to get a hug form my mom :P Notes on the mirror I really mean those things...and yes i know i have a long way to go :P Yess u guessed it...more sweetness at the bedroom door :) Bhagvaanji ki tasveer par...the last note The hidden treasure Pretty by Elizabeth Arden... a light floral perfume.. the bottle is sweet..but the name could have been more creative :P Then came the CAKE and the Friends for a fun evening ahead A very pretty and yummy black forest cake from sangeeta aunty All those people just to set up a cake...hahah.. THIS MOvie kicks ass.... just when i had given up on teen movies..this movie is sweet but not dibetic ...its a edgy romcom that is a must for all slumber parties or date nites :)

I cried for this one too..can u believe it... im not a softie..ok maybe just a lil..but this kid can act and make u cry...but the movie is great... with great charaters, simple yet touching plot, good humour and just enough soccer..trust me..im not a huge soccer fan...

Whichever loser said that this movie was bad has no brains...plss...this movie was amazing. WALL E..the robot..is soo endearing and lovable. The graphics are amazing... the plot is simple ( a love story) but has a bigger picture and a moral too. Even if you hate animated moviess...pls watch this..it will not dissapoint. It is not lame at all..trust me i can smell lame from a mile away. :)

HEylooooooo ppl who are bored enough to read my blog or narcissists who jus wanna see how pretty they look in their pics ... THE whos who of ocean park gathered together at the diwali party at the function room. The room was decked with fab flowers and paper hanging thing that said 'happy diwali' . They sure did go "all out" this time. Oh and did I not mention the awesome DJ that brought the house down with ' no talk just rock' BOLLYWOOD STYLE. You can only imagine how "excited" I was. AS a special treat... the ocean park gals put up two energetic dance numbers 'mauja hi mauja' and 'ji karda'. THE GURLs did a great job and got the paarty started with a big bang! The latest ' ur going to need a hip replacement after this ' songs were played all nite long. If dancing wasnt your thing then there was a grand buffet waiting for you..with artery clogging dishes like paneer makhani and some chicken ki dish( espicially for our chicken lovers...remind u of anyone?) . The night ended with bindaas dancing by auntys, auncles, bachaas, teens and akanksha.. on my "FAVOURITE "songs like ' oh ho ho ho' the "classic" by sukhbinder singh that "never gets old". Last but not the least... the best part of the party...were the pwetty pictures all of us took together. Take a look: 2 pretty ladies, awesome decor and the classic uncleji drinking soda in the background.

Went on the big flyer thing... got free tickets frm papa's company...finally some reward for being in shipping...eventhough i dont see any connection with shipping and flyer ..but who cares rite..It was jus me papa and ma..... spent the whole day with them..then at the end of the day papa says" nandini you dont spend time with us"...OMG i wanted to run into a wall....hahaha he noes how to annoy the crap out of me..hahaha

I was trying to take a pic but papa was super excited abt the ride...ahahha he was like a kid with ADD who was high on sugar...hahah... so its jus me and my new glasses...and half a maa :P

My First Official Concert....

I thought this day would never come!...Always wished that I could watch a good concert before i complete my teens...At least i can check this off in my list of thing to do before i turn 20. A lot many left to go.

The tic to the concert.... i cant believe i paid a $150 to watch a concert...but now it feels worth it...especially when i get to brag abt it to others....hahah...

Unfortunately all my friends are bollywood maniacs and me being the only one with any interest in english music.... I had noone to go with...

Until came my exclassmate to my rescue...apparently her frens were having monetary issues too so we ended up going together!...Gd thing she was as enthusiastic abt this as I was.... Yes we are deprived of fun things to do here..and this is a big deal for us!

Well being the bimbos we are...we started worrying abt what we were going to wear!

Thank God for the Mango sale!.. Ppl were going crazy but we maintained our cool and managed to grab some good stuff.... Got myself a retro top...and a few other t shirts.... gr8 i have something to wear on top Next it was all abt the coveted black skinny jeans tat everyone seems to have rite now! Even guys.... i had to get me some!....So TO BUGIS~ got mine for $25...not bad i guess....yehh i got meself some bottoms ( in cute irish or scottish accent.... reminds me of oliver wood!) Yes HIM!.....izint he dreamy...lov his accent in the movie...he was the most good looking one in happypotter1.....ohh noo nan...focus..... So anyways attirewise I was ready...yehhh.... Well at least I though I was.... 30th june... had spanish class in the afternoon and concert in the evening at 8pm...Aka cudnt go spanish with me so had to go alone...Olger Portilla missed u aka...hahah...hez our profesor Reached home at 5.30pm... michelle said she would meet me there so maa and pops were goin to drop me there on their way to mustafa... Anyhuuu i had to leave by 7pm so i started getting ready....had decided i will go all out with makeup this time cause my makeup has been rotting in my drawers for months now! Got started...messed up makeup two times...before i got this.... hahahah yes...i have my VAIN moments too....stop laughing u guys!....i tot e makeup cameout fine...and i actuli got tired after it so i had to lie down :P I liked my eyemakeup.... nothing....I MEAN NOTHING...can be done abt the nose!

Maa insisted i take a pic before i leave....and here it is...e final look.... I was wearing my white patent heels with that.... ALL HAIL BUGIS..for my 20bucks shoes!....y do i look soo in the pic? i dont noe? Well I met michelle at the stadium...she looked GREAT...well shez supermodel skinny and tall... Anyways...we were so excited and a lil too dressed up wen we saw some ppl in casual clothes...Well there were some much more overdressed than us.... Thats us at our 150 bucks seats...which were a lil dissapointing..but i guess better than the side seats.... We got bored waiting.... the concert was a lil late....so we decided to take more pics...tats michelle and the curtains behind her...tats how far we were... My version of the STAGE! We were surprised to see that the place was a little empty...well until later when it got crowded

OK now comes the exciting part!..... We were a little dissapointed with our seats and started eyeing a few empty seats in front to move to....well i thought they were a few rows ahead

When the lights began to dim...we decided to make a run for it... I thoght we were going to sit an few seats ahead....but michelle ran like a crazed woman and managed to sneak into the $250 section before it closed....hahah WOW wat a rush!....

We ended up sitting much closer to the stage and then started the show!

Opening number: Ain't no other MAN...... The live Band was Awesome!

Well off comes her pants and shirt...and here she stands in this hot number....She was mostly singing her new songs from back to basics that we hadnt heard so we cudnt sing along....but she has a GREAT pair of LUNGS and LEGS~hahahh :P Her...in another costume.... I think this was the JAZZ version of WHAT A GIRL WANTS...prefer the original though...

Her in another costume...cowboy pants made of lace....hahha .... her costumes were really sexy! This costume was the most BLING of all....rumour has it that she is pregnent...but god she looked soo thin....mybe her baby is flat.....anyhuu the music was soo loud the baby wud have gone crazy inside!...hahah... AND she dosent even get tired...wvwn when we were begining to lose our voices.... This song was: HURT....i think....she likes the whole OLD circus look....well the performers were amazing....there were fire breathers... ppl walking on stilts and even trapeze! how cool is that !

HERE is another look at the stage....u can see the trapeze at the sides!.. the dancers were really professional!...just walked out of 'so you think you can dance' maybe even better... That is christina on a BULLS EYE.... the stage decor was magnificient...hope i spelled it rite..too lazy to check now!....

oh this one a a CROWD PLEASER.....oh yes this made us all stand and dance... REAL LADY MARMALADE..... vu le vu.... AFTER this she pured out all her POPULAR numbers...

DIRRTY.... HOLD US DOWN...CANDYMAN.... ohh this is when we reli started going mad...me and michelle were dancing on our seats ...and shouting our heads off...stupidly there were ppl who just sat there with no reactions...dont noe y?

The whole audiance was singing along with her for this one.... YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL IN EVERY SINGLE WAY....WORDS CANT BRING YOU DOWN....wow this one was fantastic...im running out of adjectives to use....

So the finale... E BEST OF ALL....was FIGHTER..... MAN WE WENT BESERK at this point...were jumping now... ENDED WITH A BANG....and confetti.... gave her a standing ovation.... hahah tat was the peak.... and we were too excited to take any pics! hahha sorry

Concert ended at abt 10.30pm...POPS came to pick me up in cab...e place was super crowded..cause the closing ceremony of national stadium...So in the cab i got all NUTSO...hahah did a lil christina posing~

OH then comes the most akward moment.... a bunch of workers come walking along ...and start doin their jobs....no..not construction....ITS STARING..... its like a natural reflex!...anyhuuu so we both are lying there....and it feels soo weird...and i crack a joke... 'FOR SALE'....hahah

We werent even doing anything but their stares made us feel so dirty...ewwwww...so we got up...and nisha and swapi came back! I CALL THIS: BEACH MAIN PONTIANAK.... (no special effects here)

So we sat there and sang songs... and scared half the campers cause they thought PONTIANAKS were attacking.... hahah.... I have a feeling tat the camper couple were very disturbed by us....but who cares! WE had fun............... THEN CAME BACK THE GROUP OF WORKERS... it was soo funnie...the moment they came back... we were all packed and ready to go!....hahaha

We head to SUBWAY... soo hungry.... and akanksha has been craving for it for days now! The sandwhichs are delicious... SUBWAY EAT FRESH...

OK this is a very controversial issue.... See the shop in pink neon light....as you cud have read by now..its a sex shop....no aka they dont sell sex here....'sex toys'...now dont ask me wat tat is....i just took a photo cause this is wat happenes in ur head wen u see it

See gyan....nepali shop.....sells lots of dresses for like $15....prob buys them for like 30 rupees or something....tat means nepal has lots of cheap fashionable clothes....GYAN ..BUY....!

RETRO prints everywhere.... who brought 60's back?... Fashion repeats itself...its like in a cycle... In the 90's who wud have thought tights would make a comeback?... But i like retro fashion... its soo colorful... well most of these dresses are nice but clingee..all those bulges and fats..no place for them to hide...reminder: go gym !

This was my blog homework.... found a nice spot in topshop near e mirror to take pic...i dont think we r allowed to?..nobody stopped us though... Well aka took 10 minutes just to take a snap... we were blocking ppls way and they kept giving me e EVIL EYE...and i kept giving aka e "EVIL EYE" yet she could not take a decent pic quickly. Reminder:I need to find new friends!
